Payroll and Human Resources Specialist:
- Process and record payroll for multiple properties
- Manage workflow to ensure payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely.
- Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate reports prior to posting into the accounting software.
- Reconcile quarterly and year-end PR tax reporting.
- Managing and processing pre-hire and onboarding paperwork for employees
- Organizing and maintaining employee records
- Organizing and maintaining records for investigations and claims
- Perform tasks as assigned by members of the management staff.
- Maintain and enforce policies and procedures for internal control compliance.

Requirements:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (required).
- Working knowledge of standard payroll practices and procedures.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations.
- Ability to deal sensitively with confidential material.
- Strong writing skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience working with multiple companies (strong plus).
- Experience with computerized accounting software (strong plus).
- Experience with Paylocity, or similar payroll processing software (strong plus).
- Must be punctual, responsible, dependable and reliable.
- Ability to effortlessly switch gears at a moment’s notice and wear many hats.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a high paced, dynamic environment.
- Willingness to work as part of a team and assist co-workers when required.
