Seeking a Senior Application Developer specializing in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining the HRIS system (Dayforce) and the performance management system (SuccessFactors), as well as other HR systems. The primary focus will be creating and enhancing applications that streamline HR processes, improve data management, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Work with functional and development teams to develop application code, unit test, and troubleshoot issues for HR Systems. Handle application's customized processes, reports, and interfaces to determine required technical changes to develop new enhancements or troubleshoot operations-related production issues.

Major Responsibilities:

•  Design, develop and maintain HR software applications (Dayforce HCM, SAP Success factors, etc.) databases and systems, including front-end and back-end development, as well as integration with existing systems

•  Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Dayforce HCM suite (Core offering, Talent Intelligence, Workforce Management, Benefits, Payroll Compensation, Advanced Capabilities and other modules), troubleshoot issues, resolve incidents and implement enhancements as required

•  Collaborate with HR professionals to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation; translate requirements into functional software solutions that enhance efficiency and accuracy

•  Ensure the secure and efficient management of HR-related data, including employee records, payroll information, benefits data, and other sensitive information; implement data access controls and encryption measures

•  Stay updated on HR-related regulations and compliance requirements; ensure that HR systems follow SOX audit requirements

•  Provide technical support and troubleshooting for HR systems and resolve issues promptly to minimize disruptions to HR processes

•  Conduct thorough testing of HR software applications to identify and fix bugs, ensuring a seamless user experience

•  Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for HR information systems, including technical design documents and operational runbooks

•  Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT professionals, HR managers and end-users to ensure the successful implementation and adoption of HR systems

•  Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in HR technology to make informed recommendations for system improvements

•  Identify and implement application changes within the system to support the regular maintenance, compliance and periodic bundled updates for patches and fixes as needed

•  Work closely with the functional team to program, document, test and implement new enhancements and modify programs and interfaces as needed

•  Conduct impact analysis, application development and unit testing to ensure the quality of the systems application's current design and development standards

•  Work in a technical capacity with a good understanding of HR business processes and functionalities

Position Specifications:

•  Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline or the equivalent work experience and technical training  

•  3–5-years’ experience with Dayforce HCM suite (Core offering, Talent Intelligence, Workforce Management, Benefits, Payroll Compensation, Advanced Capabilities and other modules) development tools 

•  Knowledge of database management systems, particularly SQL

•  Knowledge of HTML, HTML5, JavaScript, XML, or Python (desirable)

•  Knowledge of SAP Success factors a plus

•  Familiarity with HR software solutions and platforms

•  Experience working with PII (Personal Identifiable Information) data and understanding of compliance and security protocols

•  Strong communication and collaboration abilities

•  Understanding of HR processes for SOX compliance requirements and data security best practices

•  Experience with software testing and quality assurance tools

•  Understanding SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) methodology
