Job Opening: Copy Editor

Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for precision in medical communications? We are hiring a full-time Copy Editor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll collaborate with writers, designers, account executives, and project managers to ensure editorial excellence, adherence to industry requirements, and accuracy in referencing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit and proofread content for quality, accuracy, grammar, style, and consistency.
• Fact-check materials to guarantee accuracy.
• Upload documents and annotations, linking references in the electronic submission system.
• Enforce clients' requirements and industry guidelines.
• Maintain and update the internal brand style guide.
• Uphold the high quality of assigned brands.

Internal Collaboration:

• Work seamlessly with staff across all departments.
• Understand and fulfill task requirements by proactive communication.
• Exercise good judgment in assessing the level of editing needed at different production stages.
• Collaborate with project management to ensure timely content delivery within specified parameters.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in English or a related field preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Confidence in handling subject matter and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with industry guidelines.
