Marketing Technology Manager/Senior Manager for a Small Consulting firm

We’re in search of a dynamic marketing technology Manager or Sr. Manager who excels in developing, overseeing, and assisting clients in making critical decisions and implementing enterprise-level technology solutions. Ideal candidates will possess a proven track record of comprehending current client requirements, devising solutions, strategizing customer-centric approaches, and delivering substantial value to the consulting firm’s clients. The individual in this role is someone who is curious and continuing to be at the forefront of marketing technology trends, embracing emerging capabilities that empower our clients to navigate the evolving landscape of marketing seamlessly. The role involves assisting clients in making critical decisions about their technology strategies and implementing and optimizing new technology solutions.


Key responsibilities include:

  • serving as a subject matter expert on marketing technology business needs, marketing tech assessments, solutions design and project execution
  • work alongside other consulting team members (data and analytics and accounts) to understand and guide client deliverables
  • assessing client technology ecosystems
  • evaluating technology platforms
  • defining future state design concepts
  • leading requirement definition and analysis, managing deliverable creation, client relationship management, supporting business development efforts, contributing to organizational development, and maintaining internal process flows and governance.

Qualifications include:

  • 6+ years of experience in technology analysis and implementation at consultancies, technology providers, and/or client-side industry roles. Direct experience with the integration of marketing technology (e.g. CDP, CRM, ESP, DAM, DMP, MAP, CMS, DSP, TMS).
  • Strong background and relevant experience leading, managing or implementing enterprise marketing technology integrations to deliver business value
  • strong leadership and project management skills, ability to collaborate across teams, and excellent communication and consultative skills.
  • 4-year college degree in a related field (IT Systems Management, Data & Analytics, Computer Science, Systems Engineering)
  • Must have Consulting firm experience
  • Must be based in the Chicago area and able to work hybrid schedule (3x a week) at downtown office location
  • Salary Range depends on experience level – range is between $120K – 160K
