We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of financial principles, and the ability to provide actionable insights to drive business decisions. The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for leading financial planning, forecasting, and analysis efforts to support strategic initiatives and optimize financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Analysis:
- Develop and manage financial models, forecasts, and budgets.
- Analyze financial performance and variances against budgets, forecasts, and historical data.
- Provide insightful analysis and recommendations to support strategic business decisions.
Reporting:
- Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports and dashboards for executive management.
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic reforecasts.
- Collaborate with department heads to gather budget inputs and align financial goals.
Performance Analysis:
- Conduct detailed financial analysis of operational performance, market trends, and competitive positioning.
- Identify areas of improvement and provide actionable recommendations to enhance financial performance.
Ad-Hoc Analysis:
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as required by management.
- Support strategic initiatives with detailed financial modeling and analysis.
Compliance & Controls:
- Ensure financial processes and reporting comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or Master’s degree is a plus.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) are highly desirable.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in financial analysis, with a proven track record of success in a similar role.
- Experience with financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
Skills:
Strong proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
