Job Description:
As a project manager you will report to the CEO and COO. You will be responsible for project and vendor management, logistics and some light billing/clerical work.
Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocations.
· Coordinate and monitor project activities, ensuring alignment with client requirements, budget constraints, and quality standards.
· Lead project teams, providing direction, support, and motivation to achieve project objectives on time and within budget.
· Communicate regularly with stakeholders, including clients, team members, and management, to provide updates, address concerns, and manage expectations.
· Streamline operational processes and procedures to improve efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
· Oversee day-to-day operations, including inventory management, procurement, and logistics, to ensure smooth and uninterrupted business operations.
· Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other external partners to optimize resource utilization and cost-effectiveness.
· Generate and process basic billing invoices accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and company policies.
· Monitor accounts receivable aging reports, follow up on outstanding invoices, and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes promptly to expedite payment collections.
· Maintain accurate records of billing transactions and AR activities, including invoice issuance, payment receipts, and customer communications.
Requirements:
· 4-year Degree preferred
· Proven experience in project management, operations management, or a similar role, preferably within the IT sector.
· Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and inspire teams to achieve excellence.
· Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with a keen attention to detail.
· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
· Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello) and familiarity with ERP systems is desirable.
· Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and the capability to make sound decisions under pressure.
· Prior experience with billing processes and accounts receivable management would be an asset.
· PMP or other relevant certifications would be a plus.
