Key Responsibilities:
The HR Compensation Analyst will assist in the administration of the compensation program which includes:
- Responsible for intake of compensation/classification forms
- Classifying non-exempt and exempt positions
- Conducting salary surveys
- Assists with market matching for job classifications using a variety of tools and software.
- Maintains compensation database, job code tables, and reviews and troubleshoots hiring forms and systems compensation standards
- Overseeing annual merit pay increases
- Collecting and analyzing data on wages and salaries, and evaluating job positions to determine classification and salary.
- Assist in the design and administration of compensation programs and may help in preparing compensation reports
- Time and attendance processing/auditing
- Works as part of a team to approve job actions and applies proper coding to ensure correct actions are processed for both internal and external reporting
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 2+ years of progressive experience in human resources management with specific expertise in the area of compensation
- Knowledge of job analysis and job evaluation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field
- Advanced Excel skills, including the use of pivot tables, formulas, data validation, and tables
- Knowledge of HRIS Systems, including running queries and accessing and manipulating data
