We are seeking a Business Development Representative for one of our clients.
Responsibilities
· Prospect target accounts with a focus upon (a) New York area law firms and (b) corporations throughout the US
· Pursue Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) and respond to RFP opportunities
· Engage prospective clients and build relationships
· Identify prospective client pain points and business objectives while gaining an understanding of culture and methodologies
· Advocate for Alternative Dispute Resolution, and optimize and present the NAM value proposition
· Present NAM’s unmatched Neutral panels and highlight applicable specializations to prospective clients
· Gain a deep understanding of NAM’s Commercial portfolio of sophisticated rules and methodologies associated with each program
· Understand NAM’s unique technology platforms and case management systems and be able to present the differentiation that these great assets offer NAM clients
· Communicate and follow-up with precision and timeliness
· Network, attend conferences and business social events (i.e. Bar Associations, Trial Lawyer events) to deepen and widen relationship base
· Log all activity in the NAM CRM system, prepare weekly reports and attend sales meetings
· Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws and ethical principles
Requirements
· Experience selling within the legal/litigation ecosystem; 4 plus years’ experience preferred
· Knowledge of and relationships with New York law firms and corporations is an important consideration
· Impeccable communication skills—both written and verbal
· Bright and energetic; a go-getter

· Strong work ethic and passion for serving demanding clients
· Curiosity that drives knowledge and meaningful engagement of client and their organization
· Current driver’s license and insured automobile
