A thriving organization in Monmouth County is seeking an experienced, full-time Accounts Receivable Analyst to join their team due to expansion. The ideal candidate will have three plus years of experience handling the full cycle of accounts receivable, will also be well-versed in communicating with clients both via email and phone contact, Bachelor's degree in Accounting or similar is a plus. Responsibilities:
- Process invoices and review them for accuracy to ensure compliance with financial policies and client contractual agreements. Prepare and send invoices to clients and post payments to customer accounts via customer online portals and payment systems
- Ensure client and vendor key performance indicators (KPI’s) are being met including but not limited to invoice turnaround time and timely payment and report to management on a regular cadence
- Manage receivables and aging reports and follow up with clients regarding unpaid invoices, collect on delinquent accounts, and resolve any invoice discrepancies. Prepare cash receipts for processing and ensure timely revenue collection
- Process payments, including credit card transactions, and prepare bank deposits. Assist in processing
- adjustments, maintaining integrity in outgoing payments and ensuring documentation compliance
- Perform account and invoice reconciliations against payment. Enter and maintain general ledger/journal entries and ensure accurate record keeping
Qualifications:
- Three plus years of experience in Accounts Receivable and exposure to Accounts Payable, or general accounting
- Hands on experience with large ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suit-Advanced Excel skills a must
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, a plus
